The Virginia Wine and Craft Festival is one of our popular festivals. The festival is on Main Street and takes place in May each year. Our antique store is always open during the festival to offer customers a unique shopping experience. The gates open on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. You will find Virginia wineries on site offers tastings. Musical entertainment is provided, and scrumptious food is readily available. The festival covers more than seven blocks and featuring over 100 vendors, artists and crafters from all over the east coast.
Another popular festival is the Festival of Leaves. The festival takes place on Main Street and Chester Street in October each year. The stores on Main Street are open for business. The festival includes a parade, many vendors that include crafters, artists, merchants, non-profit organizations, commercial promotions and delicious food. Live entertainment is provided, as well as a car show, children’s corner, historic demonstrations and living history interpretations, and tours of our historic homes “Belle Boyd Cottage” and “Balthis House” as well as their outbuildings,. You will find apple butter making over an open fire. Also open to the public is the Warren Heritage Society’s Ivy Lodge Museum and Gift Shop, Stokes Country Store Museum, and Warren Rifles Confederate Memorial Museum.
